FAQ

What materials do you use?

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, the majority of our jewelry is made of gold-filled materials. Gold filled jewelry is crafted by layering a base material with a thick coat of gold, resulting in a high-quality and durable piece. While it shares similarities with gold plated jewelry, the difference lies in the thickness of the gold layer. With its superior layering process, gold filled jewelry boasts a longer lifespan than traditional gold plating.

How do you care for gold-filled jewelry?

Caring for gold-filled jewelry is relatively easy and straightforward. Here are some tips to help you keep your gold-filled jewelry in good condition:

  1. Avoid exposing your gold-filled jewelry to harsh chemicals, such as bleach, chlorine, and other cleaning agents. These chemicals can damage the gold layer, causing it to tarnish or wear off.
  2. Remove your gold-filled jewelry before showering, swimming, or engaging in any water-related activities. Moisture can cause the gold layer to wear off or tarnish.
  3. Store your gold-filled jewelry in a dry place, preferably in a jewelry box or pouch to prevent it from getting scratched or damaged.
  4. Clean your gold-filled jewelry regularly with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or oils. You can also use a mild soap solution and a soft-bristled toothbrush to gently clean your jewelry.
  5. If your gold-filled jewelry has become tarnished, you can use a polishing cloth or a jewelry cleaner specifically designed for gold-filled jewelry to restore its shine.

By following these simple tips, you can help extend the lifespan of your gold-filled jewelry and keep it looking beautiful for years to come.
